She's a good friend of mine. We use to drink coffee together, and smoke a lot of cigarettes while talking about stuff, and go to parties and that's what keeps us in touch.
I haven't seen her for a while. So, we met only today. To drink some coffee, and smoke, and refresh the information about what's been happening to us lately. She goes:
"I found myself a fuck buddy."
And smiles, though I can notice she is a little bit ashamed of what she has just told me.
I don't know what to say, and quickly light up another cigarette, and there was some deep silence between us for a few seconds.
And then she goes again, and tells me that they knew each other for a very long time, and that she has never thought about the way things might occur one day. But she thinks it's finally okay, and she is not going to squeeze her brains anymore with issues related to guys and feelings and circumstances.
"I don't know what to say."
That was me saying this. I was so very confused, and she speechlessly asked for some feedback from me, but I couldn't say anything but a naked "I don't know what to say."
She starts losing enthusiasm, and looks at me almost accusingly and goes:
"Why? Come on!"
And I had to say something.
"It never works as in the dictionary. Someone still gets to squeeze their brains with feelings and circumstances after all, and this is a fuck buddy speaking."
